I tried calling the store before I went there to see if my problem could be solved over the phone. I was hung up on 3 times. So I went up there with my car electronic start box. When I walked in I asked the girl at the entrance if she needed to put a sticker on it, she rolled her eyes and put a sticker on the box. I walked over to the customer service desk to ask who I needed to speak to about an automatic start , she said automotive and said go towards the bathrooms. After trying the automotive door, which was locked, I walked over to a group of 3 staff who were hanging around talking, the all acknowledged me when I walked up but no one said anything to me. I asked for help and the girl who seemed to be in charge walked me back over to where I had been and tried calling the automotive person on their cell phone, which was in the room that was locked. She responded with " well he can't be taking a dump because he obviously doesn't have his phone." We figured out that he was outside helping another customer. I believe Che was his name, he solved my problem in under 5 minutes. He was friendly and professional, and he is the only person I encountered that was. I have never written a bad review until now, because frankly, the customer service was absolute trash, except for Che.
Other than that, this is a great Best Buy location that you can feel comfortable shopping at anytime of the year.
I had a lot of fun shopping in this store! They had a great selection of appliances (the most impressive was a "knock" on "knock" off refrigerator). Clean and friendly. You can't spend more than five minutes in the store without an employee asking if you need assistance, I also love that they have a greeter! Not the most fun job but it really makes the customers feel at home! All around its a great store.
My Best Buy of choice! The store is very well laid out and clean. The parking is relatively open and provides many parking spots. The employees here are very friendly and helpful. Many have gone out of their way to match some online prices to get my business and that makes it obvious that their customers are valued here.
I purchased Def Tech speakers about 3 weeks ago. I couldn't find my receipt anywhere but knew BB could search for it. I call the store and explain my situation that my wallet was stolen and I don't have the original card...blah blah blah. I explained I don't want a refund, but in fact wanted to purchase a much more expensive center channel. I was told on the phone that it wouldn't be a problem especially since I am upgrading. I go in the store and all of a sudden by some stroke of a miracle they see the over a thousand dollars in online purchases but can't find this one. They called for a manager named Mike Williams. This guy was the most arrogant SOB I have ever dealt with in my life. He tells me there is a scratch on the one rear channel and there are fingerprints on it. FINGERPRINTS on a high gloss finish. Well yes that happens. Well he said "we have receipts for a reason and I'm not taking these back. I asked for the store manager name and he gave me that name but I also asked for the Regional/District Managers number and or e-mail and he directly refused. I started to record the conversation and he tried to tell me I can't record him in BB. What a joke. Then has the audacity to tell the security guy at the door to get my license plate number. I asked him what do you need that for? He responded with "yeah, have a nice night" I can't get a hold of any manager and There isn't a way to file a corporate complaint. My business is going to Amazon and Walmart now as far as I am concerned. Amazon is killing them anyway. It's a shame especially since I have spent so much money there.
The only knocks against the store is that some items are not on display and so you aren't sure if they're available at the store until you look online and discover you could have just picked it up there in the first place. Also some of their display racks lack products and makes it feel empty (particularly the "Unlocked Phones" section.)
Best Buy can be a quick place to find technology products locally rather than ordering online. It is nice to see items and feel whether they are quality made or flimsy junk before making a purchase. They are usually competitive on price, bit some online prices can sometimes be lower. Advice from the staff ("Blue Shirts") is frequently questionable or wrong if you go into any depth beyond the most basics. Do your research before visiting the store if possible.
