We got there at 9:30, we were seated at about 10:10. Not to mention there was no hostess, and when I asked the woman ringing people up how long the wait would be, she gave a me a dirty look and said, "I don't know, I'm not over there. It's not my job to know" and then proceeded to walk away. After we finally got seated, we sat for about 15 minutes before getting our orders taken. After that we waited another half hour for our food. My friends meal was messed up, they forgot 2 parts of her meal, they attempted to fix it and then brought out the wrong food again. I usually love the chicken strip melt but, this time it was burnt and poorly made. About 1/3 of my fries were burnt and blackened. The manager was friendly and attempted to help the situation. This was the worst experience I've had at a perkins ever. The food was not worth the wait or the bad customer service. The only positive part of the evening was the manager, who was kind and did what she could to help.
This morning I call for a take out and the worker that picks up the phone and does cashier @530 am was really professional and nice on the phone. Great guy! Also was really nice and and helpful in person once I came to pick up the food. Give the man raise.
Super slow service...... It's late at night and not busy.. and me and my bf waited 30 mins to order and an hour to get our food... probably would never come here again. There were two people that came in after us and got their food before us. The people who came in after us already left while we were still waiting for our food! Smh. OH and they got my order wrong! Not a welcoming place.
I came in just before the late night deals rush started. My waiter was really chill. He perfected my chicken strip melt order (honey mustard in a bowl so you can really dip the sandwich). I was asking which pie that he suggested between peanut butter silk and fudge brownie silk. I got the fudge brownie silk but he later gave me a free slice of peanut butter. He checked in the right amount of times and made the experience great.
I'm not saying you will have the same experience but can only share mine as well as the wisdom of a waiter that has served a lot of chicken strip melts.
Always seated quickly, the food comes fast and it's hot. Attentive servers. I love this place.
